Small, smoked gathering basket mad and used by the Khamu people in Luang Prabang Province, Laos. Made of bamboo with wide, solid bamboo top rim. Tied with rattan. Waist-width carry strap made of handmade rope and handwoven bamboo strap. All natural materials. It was smoked/cured before use. Excellent condition with slight patina.
