This shoulder bag was made from a beautifully hand-embroidered portion of a Hmong woman's belt. The embroider used multiple techniques and is on handspun, indigo dyed, handwoven cotton, with cotton appliqué and both silk and cotton embroidery. The bag is fully lined, has a handwoven indigo dyed strap, and is embroidered fully on both sides.
