Name: Red Naga Cloth
A brightly colored diamond of flowers (which represents a lantern to light the way to the spirit world) anchors the center of this naga (mythological river serpent) filled cloth. The borders have two headed draught naga, baby naga, or naga with scales, depending on the intent of the weaver. Lac is the primary natural dye used in the fully natural dyed, hand reeled, handwoven silk textile, perfect for a wall hanging, table centerpiece, or large altar. A photo of the designer and dyer holding the piece is included with purchase.
