Name: Bold New Naga Shaman Cloth
This is a fascinating new design using traditional motifs. The primary design is a box of naga (spiritual river serpents) that are depicted on two scales - a larger scale than usual with spirit trees and flowers filling in additional spaces, and on a smaller scale with flowers. The overall image is of movement that is quieted by the calm earthy pastel theme on the dark blue ground. This textile is handwoven from village-raised, hand-reeled, naturally dyed silk, and was designed and naturally dyed by Souksakhone. Looks beautiful worn or hanging on a wall. Comes with a photo of Souksakhone modeling the piece.
