Hand-carved knitty-knotty used by the Tai people of Nghe Anh Province, Vietnam. The device is usually used to wind cotton thread. Original nails hold the bars on either end of the carved cenrtral bar; slightly loose connections on each end, but holds well with gentle handling (if you were to use this as a knotty-knotty, these joints would require tightening). Estimated to be 50-70 years old. For this item, actual shipping cost will be billed.
