Name: Yao Shaman Knife
An older Yao shaman knife used for ceremonies where the Yao Priest ritually kills bad and evil spirits. This knife has a copper bullet casing for the handle, old Chinese coins and French Indochinese coins from 1923, 1926, and 1937, and a 1958 Vietnamese coin, which date this knife to at least that date or newer. The rusty iron blade is is fairly good condition, indicating its newer provenance, and has a few nicks in it (perhaps indicating actual contact with the spirits!).
