Name: Silk Red & Green Blanket Center

Item#: 5516

This is a small blanket center that would traditionally be bordered and backed for use. It is woven with a thick silk weft on a polycotton warp. The designs are numerous, ranging from 8-pointed stars and flowers to monkeys and a 4-legged creature. Charming, thick and luxurious, it would make a stunning wall hanging. Note: there is a dye lot change in the green about 2/3 of the way down, from a brilliant spring green to one that is ever-so-slightly olive-y - the second and third pictures compare the color differences.

Size: 24 in. x 47 in.

Origins: Houaphan Province, Laos
