Name: Indigo Batik Hemp Yardage
Village grown, handspun, handwoven hemp that has been wax-resist batiked then dyed with natural indigo to a deep, rich, dark blue. The designs are traditional to the Hmong who use this fabric to make their clothing. Each piece would make a striking vertical or horizontal wall hanging, table runner, pillows, or (with the addition of a solid blue cotton) as a stunning jacket or skirt. Design varies by piece.
