Name: Cotu Backpack Basket
A handsome, sturdy backpack basket made and worn by the Cotu people of the Central Highlands of Vietnam, this piece would make a beautiful statement in a lit corner of your living room or on a stand. The basket has been used gently in the Highland jungles, as is apparent in looking at the beautiful patina showing on the back-contact portion of the basket in the fourth photo. The basket is made of woven rattan, tightly strapped to the rattan corner frames and the wooden base support. A beautiful example of real, used, functional art.
