Name: Central Highlands Shoulder Bag
These bags are made by a group from the Central Highlands, Vietnam (we don't have the name of the group). The material used is piat, a jungle vine, or hemp that has been knotted, dyed with a tree bark for bug protection, and given a strap. This strap is twisted around the bag, knotted, braided in 8 sets of 4-strand braid (one of these 8 braids is broken), then 4 square braids, then finally into a woven flat strap. This is the first of these bags we've found in such good condition.
