Name: Bright Naga Healing Cloth
This healing cloth really "pops" when seen in person, with the subtle dark blues and greens vibrating against the white and gold patterns on merlot. This handspun, handwoven, naturally dyed textile is filled with naturally colored silk naga (mythological river serpents), pregnant (see the alternating white and colored geometric flowers filling its body. The constant use of rainbows, from the cresting on the naga's head to the pregnant bellies and rainbow flower filled diamond shaped naga heads refer to the hong bird, a mythological bird with the belly of a rainbow that shows when it flies. The first border design is curl-tailed naga, followed by flowers and river patterns. The colorful tassles are made of silkworm cocoons cut to resemble flowers.
