Hmong Embossed Fern Frond Earrings
Name: Hmong Embossed Fern Frond Earrings
Item#: JTE8s
Hand-cut and embossed "fern fond" earrings traditionally worn by Black Hmong women in northern Vietnam. These earrings are completely handmade by Trang, a jeweler who lives in rural Lao Cai Province, and who makes jewelry for the local villages. The metal is white bronze (copper, tin, zinc), recycled from used jewelry; it will not tarnish and is strong, yet still pliant.
